Microdermabrasion

This tried and true treatment works well to restore most concerns related to tone and texture. During a microdermabrasion treatment, the skin is resurfaced and polished with a small handheld instrument. The instrument used during treatment is a device with a diamond-tipped head to exfoliate the skin.

Frequently Asked Questions

By gently sanding away the outermost layer of dead skin cells, microdermabrasion can effectively address a variety of surface-level issues affecting the appearance of the skin. These issues include:

  • Black heads
  • Age spots
  • Acne scars
  • Sun damage
  • Rough texture
  • Lines and wrinkles

In addition to exfoliating the skin, microdermabrasion also stimulates collagen. This gives the skin a rejuvenated, more youthful appearance.

Some of our patients are so pleased with the results of microdermabrasion that they visit our clinics once or twice a month to boost results and maintain progress. Our clinical staff can also recommend effective skin care products for you to use at home to preserve the benefits of your treatment.
