Pre-Treatment Instruction:

  • Do not workout 24 hours prior to treatment
  • Avoid caffeine 48 hours prior to treatment
  • Sunburnt skin can sometimes be painful when treated. We always recommend using sunscreen to protect your skin when outdoors.
  • To minimize bruising avoid the following ~7 days prior to treatment: baby aspirin, Aleve, Motrin, multivitamins, vitamin E and D, fish oils, alcoholic beverages. These are blood thinners and will cause you to bruise more easily. Note: DO NOT discontinue baby aspirin or any blood thinners prescribed by a physician before checking with THAT PHYSICIAN.
  • Please discontinue products containing any exfoliating agents (retinoic acid, tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, astringents, etc.) 24 hours before treatment.

Post-Treatment Instruction:

Microblading/Ombre Brows
Immediately Following Treatment:
  • The healing process can last anywhere from 4-6 weeks and your body will go through healing phases. Note that because the skin is going through a regenerative process, after recovery (peeling) your brows may look lighter than they were during the treatment. This is normal but with proper care and a touch up 6 weeks post treatment, they will keep the color.
  • No water or steam 7 days post treatment.
  • No product on the area for 7 days post treatment. Apply products around the area.

    Day 1-30
    • Bruising, pinpoint bleeding, minor scabbing, minor breakouts, swelling and/or redness may occur and will resolve within 7-10 days of treatment.
    • Do not pick, peel, rub, scrub or irritate your skin in any way while it is healing, as this may cause scarring.
    • Avoid heat, saunas, hot tubs and sweaty activity; this includes exercise of any kind.
    • Do not use an electric or manual facial brush of any kind (i.e. Clarisonic or something of the like).
    • Mineral make-up may be worn, however, we recommend leaving skin clean for this time period if possible.

    Day 30+
    • You may resume your regular skin care routine as long as peeling/flaking has subsided. If you are still peeling/flaking, be patient and allow your skin the time it needs to heal before starting back on your routine.
