What is QWO?

QWO is a non-surgical treatment clinically proven to reduce moderate to severe cellulite. QWO is injected by our aesthetic injectors directly into targeted dimples of cellulite using a small needle.

How does QWO work to treat cellulite?

The enzymes in QWO—called collagenases—target the structural cause under the skin. It’s thought that QWO works in 3 ways: releasing fibrous bands, redistributing fat cells, and stimulating the growth of new collagen.

Is it cellulite or skin laxity?

What is causing the dimples? Is it a loss of elasticity causing the skin to appear rippled (skin laxity) or tension of fibrous bands which causes the skin to appear dimpled (cellulite)? This will be determined in a consultation with one of our expert injectors. Qwo does not treat laxity as the structural cause is different from Cellulite. How long does a QWO cellulite treatment take?

Injections take as little as 10 minutes.

How many QWO treatments are needed to see a full result?

While each patient is different, we recommend QWO injections be given 21 days apart for 3 treatment visits to see the full benefits of the treatment. It is roughly 10 weeks from start to finish.

What can I expect with my QWO treatment?

Our aesthetic injectors will talk to you about what to expect post-treatment and when to follow up – setting your expectations properly is our job and we want you to have the most successful treatment! While Qwo requires no post-treatment downtime, one of the most common side effects is injection site bruising and it will look different for everyone. With regards to maintenance: once those fibrous bands are released maintenance with Qwo is not necessary.
