Botox: a once highly tabooed discussion during dinner with friends has slowly become a widely accepted table topic. Botox has proven that it’s here to stay, and because people are better educating themselves about it, they’re realizing the powerful benefits it can have.

We know how Botox is perceived: It’s the treatment that you would get to achieve a frozen face – “say goodbye to making any expression” – they’d say. Well, we’re here to tell whoever needs to hear this that if your friends are aging gracefully, and their skin is staying smooth and taught, chances are good they’re getting Botox (or some professional skin care help). So let the the stigma still linger – we don’t think it’ll be that way forever. After all, the truth is: we’re not getting any younger. While we strongly believe in “to each their own” when it comes to aging, we just want you to know we’re here to help if preserving your youthful looks is something that interests you.

For those who have wanted to dip their toes into the world of injectables, but haven’t yet, here’s your chance to try it out, without the long-term commitment.

It’s called:

"BABY BOTOX"

What is Baby Botox?

Baby Botox is what we in the business call traditional Botox in micro doses or “Microtox”. Baby Botox is perfect for those who want to try it out but are not quite ready to inject their whole face. Both treatments use the same product, botulinum toxin, but it is injected with a precise and light hand to give a natural look. The primary purpose of Baby Botox is to treat the signs of aging but in a conservative way.  Baby Botox is made to target certain areas with less product so the result is subtle and barely there, but perfect for those who don’t want to treat various areas with more product.

How does it work?

Baby Botox is injected the same way traditional Botox is, but the main difference comes from the injector. She will use a lighter and more delicate hand to ensure that you are getting the right amount while still yielding the same results. This treatment has gained popularity for its ability to compliment “prejuvenation.” Prejuvenation is prevention and rejuvenation all wrapped into one. It’s when you initiate a series of thoughtfully planned steps that will prevent or impede the changes associated with the appearance of “aged” skin to maintain the health and aesthetics of your skin, but also enhance it in the most natural way possible… sounds like Baby Botox fits the bill!

Why is it different than traditional Botox?

Baby Botox uses less product, and the results are more subtle. This is a great entry-level treatment because it’s for anyone who wants a “more movement” look (more units = less movement and less units = more movement). You’ll be able to see and feel the difference, you just won’t see it as much as a traditional Botox treatment. The result is a more refreshed look – one that’s way more noticeable than just getting a good sleep and sticking to a good skin care routine! There is also a difference in cost as well, making it more affordable.

Does it last as long as traditional Botox?

Baby Botox is temporary procedure just like traditional Botox. It usually lasts between 2-3 months. You are receiving less, so your body has less to dissolve.  Luckily for you, you can enjoy this painless procedure for a few months and then pop back in to visit your favorite Botox injector at either or Greenwood Village or Denver medical spa!
