Experience matters.

Especially when it comes to Botox.

Facial Aesthetics is ranked among the top 1% in the nation (that’s in the top 50 practices of ~35,000) by Allergan, makers of botox. Our dedicated, passionate and experienced injectors perform Botox treatments all day, every day.

What is BOTOX® Cosmetic?

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a neurotoxin that is injected by units from a syringe into the face to smooth fine lines and wrinkles. More units cause less movement. Less units cause more movement.

A subtle, natural look is always achievable, whether you opt for some movement or little to no movement.

If you suffer from lines or wrinkles this is the product for you. Targeted injections of BOTOX® Cosmetic into facial tissue temporarily interrupt nerve signals to nearby muscles. Even deep-set wrinkles can find some improvement. It also has many other cosmetic uses including being injected into the armpits to halt excessive sweating.

Benefits of
BOTOX® Cosmetic?

Buh-bye wrinkles

Botox can be used to smooth fine lines and wrinkles in the following areas: forehead lines, frown lines (aka 11’s or glabellar lines), crow’s feet, bunny lines, upper lip, smoker’s lines, vertical lines of the neck, horizontal lines of the neck, and marionette lines.

Botox can also be used to treat: pitted/dimpled chin, masseters, gummy smile, excessive sweating and TMJ.

Fresh, not frozen

There’s a reason our med spa has been around for over 25 years and providing fresh, beautiful results with Botox is one of them. As we age, we develop fine lines and wrinkles that appear on our faces whether we want them or not. If you’re looking to soften those lines and refresh your appearance, a consultation with one of our expert aesthetic injectors is the perfect next step.

Maintain your results

Botox does requires maintenance. It is metabolized in the body after ~3-4 months (varies patient to patient). Over time, these Botox treatments train the muscles not to contract so hard, leaving you with a softer, more youthful appearance.

Smooth Your Forehead Lines

As we age, the repetitive expressions we make etch lines and wrinkles onto our faces. This patient visited us to say goodbye to the lines that would form when she raised her eyebrows, giving her a more youthful, relaxed appearance.

Refreshed at rest

This patient started receiving Botox when she noticed the fine lines weren’t disappearing from her resting face. Before they got any deeper, she opted for Botox to halt the muscles from contracting to create the lines that she was experiencing at rest. A beautiful result.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most frequent questions and answers

Your BOTOX® Cosmetic Consultation

To fully determine your candidacy for Botox, schedule a consultation with one of our expert aesthetic injectors. At the initial consultation, we will discuss your needs and overall goals.

*Prior to consultation, please be aware that if you are pregnant or nursing, you are NOT a candidate to receive treatment. Please wait until after pregnancy and once fully through with nursing to receive treatment.

You will also want to inform us of anything else that may hinder your cosmetic results, including:

  • any medications you are taking, including vitamins and supplements
  • any known allergies
  • if you have an infection in the proposed area
  • have some muscle/skeletal disorders (for your safety, please disclose all medical conditions to your clinician prior to treatment)
  • are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation therapy
  • have double vision

How Long Does BOTOX® Cosmetic Last?

It’s important not to allow BOTOX® Cosmetic to wear off completely, because the muscles will start contracting again causing progression of the line or wrinkle. Because BOTOX® Cosmetic is a temporary procedure the results will most likely last 2.5-3.5 months. It is important for you to keep up your appointment schedule to maintain your results. For this reason, we highly recommend you schedule your next appointment before you leave.

Cost of BOTOX® Cosmetic

The cost of BOTOX® Cosmetic can vary as it depends on the number of units you receive at treatment. Whether your needs are a sprinkling or more full coverage, the price is ultimately determined by what you’re trying to achieve. Beware if you see prices that seem too good to be true, chances are good they are. If you simply go for the cheapest option available, the probability of a subpar treatment, unpredictable results, and potentially an inexperienced injector are high. Instead of opting for the cheapest BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment available, opt for experience and the right fit. Being able to trust your injector is so important. After all, this is your face we’re talking about.

Is BOTOX® Cosmetic Safe?

BOTOX® Cosmetic is derived from Botulinum toxin A. But, just because Botox is a toxin, doesn’t mean it is toxic. BOTOX® Cosmetic is made from a purified form of Botulinum toxin A. It is also diluted with a saline solution before it is injected. That means that BOTOX® Cosmetic is administered in concentrations far below harmful levels. BOTOX® Cosmetic is one of  the most extensively studied non-surgical medical aesthetic treatments today. There have been over 8 million procedures performed among Americans in the last year alone. That said, any medical treatment can be dangerous in the wrong hands. Remember it’s the skill, talent and experience of the injector you’re buying, not the product. Do your homework put yourself in a safe and certified environment to receive treatment.
